DRAWINGS and PRINTS

Wienholt’s drawing talent was recognized early on. Sketching became a life long practice of committing to the page what she saw before her. She drew in charcoal pencil, ink, and pastel. She also sketched plan designs for ceramic and bronze sculpture.

Having studied printmaking at the NYC Atelier 17 in the 1940s, she returned to printmaking from time to time.
